Account Deletion Request

You can request deletion of your DohOps account and personal data at any time. We honor all valid deletion requests within 30 days, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
What gets deleted
When you request account deletion, we permanently remove the following data associated with your account:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your profile photo and any photos you have uploaded
- Your work schedule, time entries, and clock-in records (subject to legal retention exceptions, see below)
- Your messages and chat history
- Your task submissions and verification photos
- Your location data and clock-in GPS records
- Your push notification tokens and device identifiers
- All other personal data associated with your account
What is retained for legal compliance
For tax, payroll, and labor-law compliance purposes, we may retain anonymized records of work hours and pay history for up to seven (7) years, as required by U.S. federal and state employment regulations. These retained records do not contain personally identifiable information — they are aggregated and stripped of identifying fields.
Anonymized diagnostic data (such as crash logs and error reports) may also be retained for product-improvement purposes. This data does not contain personally identifiable information.
How to request deletion
If you are an employee
Contact your employer or store manager directly to request deletion through the DohOps admin dashboard. Your employer can delete your account from their settings panel.
Or, email us directly at support@dohassist.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and include your full name, the email address associated with your DohOps account, and the company name you work for.
If you are an account owner or employer
Email us at support@dohassist.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request - Owner" and include your full name, the email address associated with your DohOps account, and your company name.
Timeline and confirmation
- We will acknowledge your deletion request within 5 business days of receipt.
- We will complete deletion of your personal data within 30 calendar days of acknowledgment, in line with GDPR Article 17 and CCPA Section 1798.105.
- Once deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided.
Authentication
To protect your data, we may require you to verify your identity before processing a deletion request. Verification may include confirming the email address on file, providing your employee ID or company name, or other reasonable identity checks.
Your rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to:
- Request deletion of your personal data (this page)
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Object to certain types of processing
